The company was founded by Laura Lacy-Thompson in 2003. Laura began her decorating career when she was first married and moved to England. With a small budget and few furnishings she set out to decorate her home. Her talents for sewing and decorating soon flourished and friends began calling upon her to decorate their homes.

In 2002 she decided to turn her love of decorating into a career by obtaining her certification in one-day redesign with Lauri Ward, New York Designer, best selling author, and founder of the nationally recognized Use-What-You-Have® decorating technique. Laura is a certified member of The Interior Refiners Network®. She is also a member of the Window Coverings Association of America and an Affiliate member of the Interior Design Society.
